FYI the RoF AND the number of projectiles increase at each shot. After ~2 seconds of firing you reach a RoF of 4.5 rounds/sec, firing 10 projectiles per round. Considering the acuracy of the weapon, you usally land most/all of them for a whopping 45 projectiles/sec. Hands down best number of projectiles/sec in the game.
As a high RoF-type Tao has lower overdamage potential (from those excessively big 1-hit damage like lei luo/fox). Also, esp for icy blade users it suffers from a similar problem as miasma; ie its not as strong as it is in solo. Shield for every sword that's sommoned, combined with the 50% chance of not consuming grenades that's pretty nice. Obviously sword DMG too.

Tao is ungodly broken. This new addition to the roster absolutely blows everyone out of the water by a landslide if she gets her optimal path rolling (which is also, quite sadly, very obvious). Kinda new to game, just beat the game on elite difficulty and my go to build is just get enough defensive talent and defeaning mortar with talent which resets the fatal current and just face tank enemies with spamming the defeaning mortar n resetting the fatal current.
