The extra attack feature for the bladesinger says that you can attack twice instead of once when you take the attack action and you can replace one of those attacks with a cantrip. Unpopular opinion: I think bladesinger is inherently broken as a subclass in 5e. My problem with the archetype comes from the fact that wizards in 5e are full casters that derive most of their power from the base class. Taking into account this, a subclass of wizard that wants to get the wizard into melee combat runs into three possible scenarios:
